What is Arize AI?
Arize AI is an AI engineering platform for observing, evaluating, and improving agent performance. It gives teams a workflow for examining the traces behind individual agent requests.
The platform records traces so developers can understand what an agent did across a request. This supports diagnosis when outputs, tool calls, or multi-step behavior need closer inspection.
Arize AI also provides evaluations at the span, trace, and session level. Teams can use these checks to compare behavior as prompts, models, or application logic change.
Before a production update, developers can test prompts and harnesses in the platform. The product also includes an AI engineering agent, Alyx, for running evaluations and investigating issues.
