NSynth
NSynth is a neural synthesizer that uses machine learning to generate unique sounds and musical notes.
NSynth, or Neural Synthesizer, is developed by Magenta to facilitate new ways of musical expression through machine learning. Unlike traditional synthesizers that rely on preset components, NSynth employs deep neural networks to generate audio at individual samples, providing artists with intuitive control over sound qualities. The tool features a vast dataset with around 300k notes sourced from approximately 1000 instruments, making it one of the largest public datasets available for music synthesis. This dataset enables the separation of notes and musical qualities for better exploration of sound generation, serving both musicians and machine learning researchers as a benchmark for generative models in music.
