The service has been operational for several years but will be discontinued on July 31, 2025. Users are encouraged to continue using the service until the termination date. The service has undergone several changes in its operation and terms, with the new operator being pixiv Inc. since November 15, 2019. Along with a name change, the platform has recently added new features such as a painting style called "Canna" and a "Sketch Simplification" tool for refining sketches.
